PRISM (People at Rockefeller Identifying as Sexual/Gender Minorities) is proud to announce our fourth annual Out in Science Panel followed by drinks and dinner reception. Our previous panels brought openly LGBTQ+ scientists to Rockefeller to audiences of over 100 attendees from NYC and beyond to discuss the challenges and opportunities of being “out” in science, specifically LGBTQ+ workplace climate, mentoring, and community. We have a fantastic lineup this year:
Joni Wallis - Professor, Department of Psychology, University of California, Berkeley
Kelly Ruggles - Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, New York University Medical School
Jose Pena - Professor, Department of Neuroscience, Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Ludovic Desvignes, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, New York University Medical School
Moderator: Devon Collins, Assistant Professor, Bard High School Early College
